GD Express Sdn Bhd (GDEX) was formed in 1997 to provide express delivery service for both the domestic and international markets. It operates a network of 96 stations, comprising 53 branches, 2 affiliate stations and 41 agents throughout East and West Malaysia. GDEX has a fleet of more than 280 trucks and vans used primarily for hauling of documents and parcels between stations and the National Hub (termed "line-haul" fleet) for local pick-ups and deliveries. The company's express delivery service operations are structured along the principles of the "Hub and Spoke" concept whereby customers' packages are collected by the branches, sent by trucks to a Central Clearing Hub for sorting and then redirected to their ultimate destinations. The group currently employs more than 1300 staff.

GDEX is the first local express delivery company to obtain ISO 9001: 2000 (Quality Management System) certification for all its entire 25 departments in 2003. In November 2009, GDEX upgraded its (Quality Management System) to ISO 9001: 2008. In its quest to be a world class service provider, the company has embarked on a world class excellence training programme called the Prime Minister Quality Award programme (PMQA) to equip its employees for world class performance in express carrier service and operations.

GDEX is listed on the Mesdaq market of Bursa Malaysia through its holding company GD Express Carrier Bhd in May 2005.

Network Resources



Within Malaysia, we have an extensive network of stations spread across the country to provide service to our customers. On the international front, we work with established foreign express carriers to offer express delivery services to over 212 countries worldwide.

Our distribution network facilities include the following:

- A 60,000 sq feet central all-weather clearing hub

- Integrated Hub Management System (IHMS) linked with 92 stations throughout the country

- Comprehansive security surveillance system

- More than 250 delivery vans and trucks

- Over 92 stations

- State-of-the-art IT system with proprietary software

- A 30,000 sq feet packaging and warehouse complex

- Customised storage and bulk-handling equipment

- More than 1000 staff

Corporate Structure


The key subsidiary of GDEX, GD Express Sdn Bhd (GDSB) was incorporated in Malaysia on 21 June 1995 as a private limited company and commenced its operations on 1 March 1996. In Year 2000, a new management team led by Mr Teong Teck Lean took over the helm at GDSB and undertook a major revamp exercise by transforming GDSB into an established Express Carrier service provider. Since then, GDSB has expanded its business aggressively on both the express delivery and Customised Logistics Solutions services.

GDEX was incorporated in Malaysia on 7 October 2003 as a private limited company. It was subsequently converted to a public company on 8 November 2003. On 21 November 2003, GDEX entered into an agreement with GD Express Holdings (M) Sdn Bhd, to acquire GDSB and GD Technosystem Sdn Bhd (GDTech). Upon completion of the Acquisition on 8 February 2005, GDSB, GDTech and GD Venture (M) Sdn Bhd (GDV), via GDSB, became wholly-owned subsidiaries of GDEX.

GDTech is responsible for providing IT support services to the Group's entire network system, whereas GDV is principally engaged in operating and maintenance of most of the Group's fleet of trucks and vans.

On 21 November 2005, GDEX incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary in Singapore, namely GD Express (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. This subsidiary has commenced operation in February 2007 and its principal function is to improve the delivery performance of the Group in Singapore and to facilitate cross-border transactions between Malaysia and Singapore.

On 15 December 2005, GDSB acquired the entire issued and paid-up share capital of GD Materials Distribution Sdn. Bhd. ("GD Materials"). Following the acquisition, GD Material becomes a 100% wholly owned indirect subsidiary of GDEX.

On 21 December 2009, the Group undertook the following transactions:

A) acquisition of the entire issued and paid-up share capital of GD Logistic (M) Sdn. Bhd ("GD Logistic") and GD Facilities & Assets Management Sdn. Bhd. ("GD Facilities") by GDEX;

B) acquisition of the entire issued and paid-up share capital of GD Distribution Services Sdn. Bhd. ("GD Distribution") and GD Customised Solution Sdn. Bhd. ("GD Customised") by GD Logistic; and

C) the transfer of the entire issued and paid-up share capital of GDV and GD Materials from GDSB to GDEX and GD Logistic respectively.
On 2 April 2010, GD Materials changed its name to "GD Secured Solutions Sdn Bhd".

On 28 September 2010, GDEX acquired the entire issued and paid-up share capital of GDEX Regional Alliance Pte. Ltd. ("GRAPL") for a total cash consideration of S$2.00

星洲日报 - 新加坡郵政4547萬購吉運速遞22.1%

(吉隆坡15日訊)吉運速遞(GDEX, 0078, 創業板貿服組)出現新大股東,新加坡郵政公司以4千547萬令吉收購該公司22.1%股權.

該公司發文告表示,該公司大股東―首席執行員梁智超,劉永達,龔懷民(譯音)吉運快遞控股(馬)私人有限公司脫售這一批5千683零800祋股票,或相等於22.1%股權.

董事部並不預見上述大股東變化將對業務、營運和財政帶來影響,脫售也不會觸動創業板上市條例1.01條文的"顯著商業動向或政策變化"條款.

相關股權脫售計劃是在本15日(週二)完成.

my company is using G-Dex for many years. After Chinese New year, G-dex had invited main customer for Dinner at Restaraunt Oversea at PJ (armada Hotel). The Executive Director cum CEO (from Singapore) mentioned to us, they propose to mainboard but because of the lisitng requirement of bumi shareholder, they are stuck there..this is 马奶。。

    我相信gdex 可以的,因为他的品牌很值得信赖(比起 skynet,airpak,kangaroo, TNT, etc)

今天股价 :RM1.13, PE :49.38, latest dividend :1sen, NAPS:RM0.16, Parvalue:RM0.1

股价在创业板不算低,股息少。如果少于RM1.00 才值得持有。这个股价稍微高了一些,要买也是短线持有。(纯粹个人意见)

GD Express Carrier Berhad Announces Ownership Interest Of GD Holdings International Limited

GD Express Carrier Berhad announced that GD Holdings International Limited has an interest of 23,912,000 units, representing 9.30% of the total shares in the Company. Previously, GD Holdings International Limited had 20.90% interest in the Company.
