In accordance with Section 9(3) of the Capital Markets and Services (Price Stabilisation Mechanism) Regulations 2008, RHB Investment Bank Berhad (“RHB Investment Bank”), being the stabilising manager in respect of the Offering, hereby announces that we have ceased the stabilising action for SCG on 26 August 2015.
During the stabilising period between 28 July 2015 and 26 August 2015, we have undertaken stabilising actions in which a total of 44,153,600 Shares, representing approximately 11.07% of the total number of offer for sale Shares offered under the Offering, were purchased at a price range of between RM0.9983 per Share to RM1.20 per Share. The last purchase was made on 26 August 2015 at a price of RM1.0586.
In conjunction with the cessation of the stabilising action on 26 August 2015, on even date, we have also exercised the over-allotment option for a total of 15,652,100 Shares granted by Sunway Holdings Sdn Bhd (“SunHoldings”).
As such, the total purchases made under the stabilising action of 44,153,600 Shares and the exercise of the over-allotment option for 15,652,100 Shares fully cover the 59,805,700 Shares that are subject to the over-allotment option in respect of the Offering. The Shares purchased under the stabilising action and the proceeds from the exercise of the over-allotment option will be returned to SunHoldings.
A copy of RHB Investment Bank’s letter dated 26 August 2015 relating to the above is attached herewith.

The Board of Directors of SunCon is pleased to announce that Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd (“SCSB”), a subsidiary of SunCon, has on today, accepted the Letter of Award issued by Putrajaya Bina Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Putrajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd, in relation to the proposed design, construction and completion of government office buildings consisting of office towers, podium parking and external works for Parcel F, Precinct 1, Pusat Pentadbiran Kerajaan Persekutuan, Putrajaya (“Project”), for a total contract sum of Ringgit Malaysia One Billion Six Hundred and Nine Million and Six Hundred Thousand (RM1,609,600,000/-) only.

The Project:-
  • consists of the construction and completion of ten (10) blocks of government office buildings and one (1) block of shared facilities.
  • targets to achieve Gold Certification under the Green Building Index requirements.
  • works will include all temporary and permanent works but not limited to Architectural, Interior Design and Fit Out, Landscape, Building Maintenance System, Building Façade, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and System Works sufficient to provide for the Project while meeting the relevant local and international standards.
  • is implemented with Building Information Modeling (BIM) through SunCon's Virtual Design and Construction system ("VDC") to facilitate the project from inception to completion.  VDC will improve project coordination, visualization of project prior to actual construction, ease clash detection to reduce error and improve buildability, improve construction coordination sequence and incorporate Facility Management for operation purposes.

The Project will commence on 18 September 2015 with a contract period of 34 months. The Project is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of SunCon Group from the financial year ending 31 December 2015 onwards.

With this letter of award, the total outstanding order book for SunCon Group as of to-date is RM4.3 billion.

The Project is subject to normal construction risk of materials price fluctuation. However, with the past experiences and expertise of SCSB in construction projects, this risk could be mitigated.

None of the directors or substantial shareholders of SunCon or persons connected with them has any interest, whether direct or indirect in the Project.

SunCon bags RM1.6b govt office buildings job in Putrajaya

KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 11): Sunway Construction Group Bhd (SunCon) said its subsidiary Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd has accepted an award worth RM1.61 billion for works relating to the construction of 10 government office buildings in Putrajaya.

According to its filing, the contract entails the proposed design, construction and completion of the office buildings, together with one block of shared facilities.

This includes office towers, podium parking and external works for Parcel F, Precinct 1, Pusat Pentadbiran Kerajaan Persekutuan (federal government administrative centre), Putrajaya.

SunCon said the project aims to achieve the gold certification under the Green Building Index requirements.

Works on the project will be for 34 months, commencing on Sept 18.

"The project is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of SunCon Group from the financial year ending Dec 31, 2015 (FY15) onwards. With this letter of award, the total outstanding order book for SunCon Group as of to-date is RM4.3 billion," said the group.

SunCon closed 3 sen or 2.75% higher at RM1.12 today, translating to a market capitalisation of RM1.41 billion.

雙威建築 獲16億政府合約

 (吉隆坡11日訊)雙威建築(SUNCON,5263,主要板建築)獲頒價值16億1000萬令吉的政府辦公樓工程。

 雙威建築向馬證交所報備,子公司雙威建築私人有限公司,獲布城控股(Putrajaya Holdings)旗下Putrajaya Bina私人有限公司,頒發總值16億1000萬令吉的工程意向書(LOA)。

 在該工程意向書下,雙威建築私人有限公司將設計、建設及完成位于布城的中央政府行政中心的辦公樓,包括泊車場。

 該公司相信,上述為期34個月的工程,將正面貢獻公司2015財年起的盈利表現,同時冀望是項工程可取得綠色建築指數(GBI)金級榮譽。

PETALING JAYA: Sunway Construction Group Bhd (SunCon) has bagged a construction project worth RM1.6bil from Putrajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd (PHSB) for works in Precinct 1, Putrajaya.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, SunCon said its subsidiary Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd had received the letter of award from Putrajaya Bina Sdn Bhd, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of PHSB.

The award would involve the proposed design, construction and completion of government office buildings consisting of office towers, podium parking and external works for Parcel F, Precinct 1, Pusat Pentadbiran Kerajaan Persekutuan, Putrajaya, said SunCon.

“With this letter of award, the total outstanding order book for SunCon Group as of to-date is RM4.3bil.

“The project consists of the construction and completion of 10 blocks of government office buildings and one block of shared facilities,” the company said, adding that it aimed to achieve Gold Certification under the Green Building Index requirements.

The company said works would include all temporary and permanent works but not limited to architectural, interior design and fit out, landscape, building maintenance system, building facade, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and system works sufficient to provide for the project while meeting the relevant local and international standards.

双威建筑获16亿合约 布城建政府办公楼

(吉隆坡11日讯)双威建筑(SUNCON,5263,主板建筑股)宣布,获Putrajaya控股获颁得标书,负责兴建政府办公楼,总值16亿960万令吉。

根据文告,这项合约是由Putrajaya控股子公司Putrajaya建筑,颁发给双威建筑私人有限公司(简称SCSB)。

合约内容是设计、建筑和完成位于布城的联邦政府行政中心政府办公楼,包括10栋办公楼和1栋共享设备、停车场和外部工程。

双威建筑放眼,该合约可达到绿色建筑指数要求的“金”级别认证。

这项目将在9月18日动工,为期34个月,预计可贡献2015财年后的净利。

随着获得此合约,双威建筑迄今的未完成订单已攀至43亿令吉。

虽然该项目预计会面临建材价格波动风险,不过基于以往的经验及专业知识,相信这风险会被减轻。

BIMB Research up Sunway Construction target price

KUALA LUMPUR: BIMB Securities Research has reaffirmed its Buy call for Sunway Construction (SunCon) and raised the target price from RM 1.12 to RM1.52.

It said on Monday the new target price of RM1.52 was based on 14 times price-to-earnings ratio (PER) over earnings per share for FY16.

Last Friday, SunCon announced it had secured a RM1.6bil project from Putrajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd for the construction of government office buildings in Putrajaya.

“We are pleasantly surprised with the amount as we did not expect it to come in as a single package. Inclusive this contract, SCG has successfully secured a total of RM2.2bil worth of projects, exceeding ours and management expectations of RM1.5bil and RM2bil respectively,” it said.

BIMB Research said following the fresh news, it raised the  FY15/16 forecast by 6.2% and 6.3% and this saw it  deriving a new target price of RM1.52 (from RM1.43).

With this project, SunCon has secured RM2.2bil worth of projects year-to-date, hence pushing its outstanding order book to approximately RM4.3bil and this should give them busy for the next three years.

“Assuming a profit before tax margin of around 8%, the project’s pre-tax profit should be around RM128.8mil.

“We retain our positive view on SunCon with expectation to i) an advantage in the construction package of LRT3 and MRT II, ii) a dominant role in BRT project, iii) strong earnings visibility, iv) an attractive dividend, and v) to continuously get supports from Sunway Group,” it said.

BIMB Securities Research has maintained its “Buy” rating on SCG at RM1.12 with a higher target price of RM1.52 (from RM1.43) after SCG had secured a project from Putrajaya Holdings SB for the construction of government office buildings at Pusat Pentadbiran Kerajaan Persekutuan, Putrajaya worth about RM1.6 billion.

In a note today, the research house said it was pleasantly surprised with the amount as it did not expect it to come in as a single package.

“Inclusive this contract, SCG has successfully secured a total of RM2.2 billion worth of projects, exceeded ours and management expectation of RM1.5 billion and RM2 billion respectively.

“In effect to that, we made adjustments to our FY15/16 forecast higher by 6.2% and 6.3% hence derived a new target price of RM1.52 (from RM1.43). Reiterate our Buy call,” it said.

雙威17億銷售難達標

安聯星展研究指出,雙威未入賬銷售保持在23億令吉健全水平,或等於2015年營業額1.9倍,料可支持其短期盈利透明度。

大馬研究表示,雖然旗下雙威建築取得16億令吉新合約,惟該行將雙威財測暫時保持不變,主要是它面對產業發展業務放緩的窘境,即今年至今為止的銷售額僅為4億7千800萬令吉。雙威計劃在今年下半年推出21億令吉的新產業單位。

新订单提振母公司 双威建筑合约前景佳

(吉隆坡14日讯)双威(SUNWAY,5211,主板產业股)子公司——双威建筑集团(SUNCON,5263,主板建筑股)获得总值16亿零960万令吉的政府设计及建筑合约,推高其未完成订单至43亿令吉,显示该公司有很好的能力获取更多新合约。

上述合约是在布城建筑10座政府办公楼,以及一栋资源共享中心,並预计在9月18日动工,费时34个月。

达证券分析员指出,不包括混凝土合约,双威建筑集团年初至今已经获得20亿令吉的新建筑合约。假设营运赚幅是7.5%,这项合约將为公司带来9060万令吉的净利。此外,贏取大型合约,也將確保公司至2017年继续维持盈利表现。

达证券上调双威建筑集团2015財政年,新填补的建筑订单预测,从原本的20亿,提高至23亿,也將2015至2017財政年度额盈利预测上修5.6%,至12.9%。目標价也隨之提高至1.26令吉,但维持「守住」建议。

马银行投行则暂时维持盈利预测,因为这项新合约仍在其预测的填补合约数额內,然而,分析员指出,若该公司今年內再获得新合约,將会上调其盈利预测。分析员也看好该公司可从大型基建活动中受惠,同时,也预期將获得双威產业发展项目合约。

带动母公司表现

马银行投行也维持该股「买进」评级,及3.10令吉的目標价。

双威建筑良好的表现,预期也將带动母公司双威的表现。

大马研究指出,新合约將双威建筑集团2015財政年合约推高至22亿令吉,远高於他们所预测的18亿令吉。双威建筑强稳的前景,预期將提振双威的表现。

分析员指出,双威2015年上半年净利按年涨13%,至2亿6700万令吉,主要因为建筑业务的强劲表现。最新建筑合约將进一步推动双威的净利表现。

联昌国际也指出,建筑领域每年为双威贡献的净利达3000万至3500万令吉。

展望未来,双威建筑集团预期在2016年获得高价值的基础设施合约,如招標中总值约8亿至12亿令吉的第3轻快铁(LRT3)土木工程。

至於在今年底开標的第2地铁(MRT2),该公司相信也將可获得其中总值10亿至15亿令吉的高桥建设合约。

联昌国际看好该公司建筑业务潜在利好消息,將降低本地產业市场低迷情绪对双威带来的影响,因此维持双威「买进」投资评级和目標价3.95令吉。

Maintain buy call with a higher target price (TP) of RM1.52: Sunway Construction Group Bhd (SCG) has secured a project from Putrajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd for the construction of government office buildings in Pusat Pentadbiran Kerajaan Persekutuan, Putrajaya, worth about RM1.6 billion.

We are pleasantly surprised with the amount as we did not expect it to come in as a single package.

Inclusive of this contract, SCG has successfully secured a total of RM2.2 billion worth of projects, exceeding our and management expectations of RM1.5 billion and RM2 billion respectively.

In effect to that, we made upward adjustments to our financial year ending Dec 31, 2015 (FY15) and FY16 forecasts higher by 6.2% and 6.3%, hence deriving a new TP of RM1.52 (from RM1.43). We reiterate our “buy” call.

With this project, SCG has secured a total of RM2.2 billion worth of projects year-to-date, hence pushing its outstanding order book to approximately RM4.3 billion. This should keep the group busy for the next three years.

Assuming a profit before tax margin of around 8%, the project’s pre-tax profit should be around RM128.8 million.

We retain our positive view on SCG with expected advantages from the construction package of the Light Rail Transit 3 and Mass Rapid Transit 2; a dominant role in the Bus Rapid Transit project; strong earnings visibility; an attractive dividend; and continuously getting support from Sunway Group. — BIMB Research, Sept 14

未完成订单43亿 双威建筑净利前景稳

(吉隆坡14日讯)双威建筑(SUNCON,5263,主板建筑股)获Putrajaya控股总值16亿960万令吉合约后,未完成总订单上涨到43亿令吉,分析员相信,庞大订单可支撑未来净利表现。

达证券指出,排除预铸洋灰订单,双威建筑的建筑订单达20亿令吉。

最新订单,则进一步激励订单到39亿令吉,加上3亿3100万令吉预铸洋灰订单,订单共达43亿令吉。

该行分析员说,假设双威建筑的营运赚幅为7.5%,建筑活动期间,该工程将为公司带来额外9060万令吉或每股7仙的净利贡献。

且分析员相信,该庞大工程料支撑公司盈利表现到2017年为止。

此外,分析员将上调双威建筑2015财年建筑业务的新订单预测,从原本将获得20亿令吉新订单,上调到将取得23亿令吉新订单。

随着订单预测上修,分析员也提高双威建筑2015至2017财年的净利预测,5.6%至12.9%,此外,目标价格从1.18令吉,上调到1.26令吉,评级保持“守住”。

马银行投行则预计,双威建筑上述工程的税前盈利赚幅达5%,到2018年为止,每年净利贡献6040万令吉。

该分析员说,最新工程符合预期,因此维持净利预测,不过,该公司若再获得新工程,净利预测就有上调空间。

大工程合约陆续有来

分析员指出,该公司的订单前景依然亮眼,因为将取得更多大型建筑工程合约、大楼建筑工程合约和双威(SUNWAY,5211,主板产业股)的产业发展计划的建筑工程。

另外,BIMB证券研究对双威建筑最新的工程感到惊喜。

该行分析员说,没有预料到整个工程会在一个配套内颁发,因此,上调了双威建筑2015和2016财年的净利预测,分别增6.2%和6.3%。

目标价上修
目标价格也上调到1.52令吉。

该分析员还强调,他们看好双威建筑,因为料从轻快铁3路线(LRT3)和捷运工程(MRT)中受惠。

同时,该公司也在快捷巴士系统(BRT)计划中扮演重要角色,且公司净利稳健、股息诱人及持续获得母公司双威支持。
