[新闻] 大雨中降古晋机场 客机冒烟滑出跑道

(本报古晋10日讯)一架从吉隆坡飞来古晋的亚航AK5218班机,于今晚10时许在大雨中降落古晋国际机场时滑出跑道,造成多趟今晚起飞与降落的飞机深受影响。

据一名乘客的家人表示,其儿子(23岁)于吉隆坡工作约半年,并于今晚乘搭亚航班机飞回古晋欢庆农历新年。该趟班机原是晚上10时15分降落古晋国际机场。惟,该趟飞机于此前曾经延迟起飞,因此其儿子已联络家人,吩咐他们当他抵达的时候会联络他们。

该名家人续表示,其儿子曾在今晚10时17分左右打电话给家人,不过其家人没有听见来电,而当他拨电第二次的时候,家人接听时,他以哭声表示:飞机出事。

家人接到消息后,赶紧前往古晋国际机场了解情况。在询问清楚后,其家人也致电给儿子。

其儿子表示,飞机在降落的时候滑出跑道,并且冲向跑道的草地。而事发后,飞机还冒烟。

害怕飞机会爆炸

事发后,机场当局关闭跑道,导致多班起飞及降落的飞机皆受影响。其中,原订今晚10时05分从柔佛飞抵古晋的亚航班机AK 5846,已无法降落,因此飞往吉隆坡。而原订今晚10时25分从沙巴飞抵古晋的亚航班机AK 6037也因不能降落,唯有飞往新加坡。今晚11时40分从吉隆坡飞抵古晋的亚航班机AK 5212也不能降落。

另外,亚航班机AK 6038,原订今晚10时55分飞往沙巴也被取消。同时,马航多班飞机也宣告无法降落,分别是今晚10时40分,MH 2532由吉隆坡飞抵古晋及今晚11时59分, MH 2534由吉隆坡飞抵古晋的班机。

截至今晚11时30分,该班机的多数乘客已经离开机舱。部分的乘客受惊吓,不过多有怨言,且眼睛红红,见到家人的时候纷纷上前拥抱。

乘客也表示,事发的时候,他们都害怕飞机会爆炸,因此想要下飞机,不过都被制止。 而之后,他们硬要下飞机后,都以跑的速度离开,因此导致有者撞伤或擦伤。

股價有望重估
亞航閉市飆上RM3.04新高

(吉隆坡13日訊)券商認為,若亞洲航空(AIRASIA,5099,主要板貿易)印尼聯號公司以本益比20倍的估值在當地上市,股價有望重估到3.80令吉,亞航作價備受激勵,飆上3.01令吉歷史新高!

印尼航空公司(Garuda Indonesia)宣佈首發股計劃,股票將以本益比19.2倍到28.2倍的估值掛牌耶加達交易所。

大華繼顯(UOB Kay Hian)證券研究以此推算,若印尼聯號公司印尼亞航也以本益比20倍的估值上市,亞航必定受益良多。

“到時亞航的估值,每股有望達3.80令吉。”

該證券行剛在6日,把亞航目標價從3.30令吉上調至3.66令吉,主要考量泰國亞航和印尼亞航上市價值,及在亞航長程(AirAsia X)的16%持股。

報告說,假設泰國和印尼亞航獻售30%股票和發售15億令吉新股,亞航在兩家公司的持股價值高達16億5000萬令吉。

“再者,泰國和印尼亞航的盈利成長強勁,迫在眉睫的上市計劃會使公司價值與利息、稅務、折舊與攤銷前盈利(EV/EBITDA)達12倍。”

利好推動下,亞航今天開高走高,雖只微增3仙以2.89令吉迎市,卻隨著券商好評急漲,一度漲15仙至3.01令吉,為盤中和歷史最高水平。

該股然后以2.97令吉掛休,揚11仙,有1173萬7100股易手,最后閉市收在3.04令吉,起18仙,成交量1816萬7000股。

Contents : AirAsia Berhad ("AirAsia" or “the Company”) wishes to announce for public information that as at 30 December 2010, 51.55% of the issued and paid-up share capital of AirAsia of 2,773,436,080 ordinary shares of RM0.10 each were held by foreigners (the foreign shareholding as at 30 June 2010 was 48.07%).

The percentage of ownership of shares in the Company by foreigners has exceeded the limit of 45% of the Company's total issued and paid-up share capital ("Prescribed Limit").

Pursuant to the Securities Industry (Central Depositories) (Foreign Ownership) Regulations 1996, shares held by foreigners which are within the Prescribed Limit shall be entitled to all rights and entitlements attached to the shares. However, shares held by foreigners which have exceeded the Prescribed Limit shall also be entitled to all such rights and entitlements except for the exercise of voting rights in respect thereof.

Foreign shareholding in AirAsia rises to 51.55%

KUALA LUMPUR: The foreign shareholding of AIRASIA BHD [] increased to 51.55% of its paid-up share capital of 2.77 billion shares as at DEc 30, 2010.

The low-cost carrier said on Friday, Jan 14 that this was an increase of 3.48% from the 48.07% as at June 30.

"The percentage of ownership of shares in the company by foreigners has exceeded the limit of 45% of the company's total issued and paid-up share capital," it said.

AirAsia said shares held by foreigners which exceeded the prescribed limit would be entitled to all rights and entitlements attached to the shares except for the exercise of voting rights.

KUALA LUMPUR: Shares of AIRASIA BHD [], which had rallied in recent weeks, saw its share price retrace on Monday, Jan 24 as investors took profit and also due to a possible delay in the completion of the KL International Airport 2 (KLIA2).

At 9.17am, it was down eight sen to RM2.86. There were 429,100 shares done.

The FBM KLCI rose 1.49 points to 1,548.92. Turnover was 131.69 million shares valued at RM86.88 million. There were 198 gainers, 79 losers and 153 stocks unchanged.

In a recent statement, AirAsia said the foreign shareholding increased to 51.55% of its paid-up share capital of 2.77 billion shares as at Dec 30, 2010.

The low-cost carrier said on Friday, Jan 14 that this was an increase of 3.48% from the 48.07% as at June 30.

Meanwhile, a news report said the targeted completion of KLIA2 is April 2012 and the runway in two to three months later. However, there was a six-month delay from the original targeted date.

The report also said there could have been on issues about the airport specifications between Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd and AirAsia.

HLIB Research maintains Buy on AirAsia, TP of RM3.46

KUALA LUMPUR: Hong Leong Investment Bank (HLIB) Research is maintaining a Buy on AIRASIA BHD [] with a target price of RM3.46 based on sum-of-parts, to better reflect Airasia’s valuation post IPO exercises of associates and investment.

The research house said on Tuesday, Jan 25 AirAsia will continue to stand out against other regional LCCs and FSCs due to its strong brand name, large networks and low operating cost structure.

On Monday, AirAsia announced strong growth in 4Q10 operating statistics with continued high passenger load factor.

HLIB Research said the low-cost carrier’s full year operating statistics were inline with its FY10 assumptions.  AirAsia reported +20.6% yoy growth in RPK (demand) and +9.7% yoy in ASK (supply). Passenger load factor at historical high of 82.5%.

“The strong growth achieved by AirAsia group confirms our view of the potential growth of LCC market in Southeast Asia, due to regional economic growth and the emerging trend of air travels,” it said.

油價若再漲
馬航或調高燃油費


(吉隆坡31日訊)國際原油價如果再高漲,將進一步加重成本壓力,馬航(MAS,3786,主要板貿易)董事經理兼總執行長東姑拿督阿茲米表示,不排除會再調高燃油附加費。

阿茲米說:“現在的油價已非常接近馬航所能對沖(Hedge)的水平以上,如果真有需要,馬航可能會調漲燃油附加費,但一切仍需視接下來的油價走勢才能決定。”

MIDF證券研究早前曾指出,航空業並無法擺脫原油和燃料價格不停上漲的命運,業界可接受的燃料價格水平,介于每桶117至125美元(約358至383令吉)。

當原油價格升至每桶110美元(約337令吉),燃油價格大約是125美元,該行預測,今年全年原油價格料維持在每桶105美元(約322令吉),所以航空業者在成本掌控上“勉強”屬安全。

“若以現有方式計算,原油價格每起1%,都會影響馬航及亞洲航空(AIRASIA,5099,主要板貿易)公司盈利,盈利將分別下滑2%及6%。”

因此,若無意外,該行認為兩家航空公司將征收至少25%的燃油附加費,抵銷營運上的額外成本。

Wellington Mgmt sells 2.08m AirAsia shares

KUALA LUMPUR: Wellington Management Co . LLP ceased to be a substantial shareholder of AIRASIA BHD [] after it disposed of 2.083 million shares on Feb 2.

A filing with Bursa Malaysia showed its shareholding was reduced to 4.99% or 138.546 million shares after the transaction.

Recent transactions showed the fund management company disposed of 285,000 AirAsia shares on Jan 28 followed by the acquisition of 925,900 shares on Jan 31.

美國基金減持亞航

(吉隆坡9日訊)亞洲航空(AIRASIA,5099,主要板貿易)的股東美國基金威靈頓管理(Wellington Management),經常買賣該公司股票,這回是售出208萬股。

馬證交所資料顯示,威靈頓管理在2月2日脫售亞航208萬3000股,持股量減至1億3854萬6000股,或4.99%股權。

最新的數據指出,威靈頓管理在1月28日賣出28萬5000股,之后又在1月31日買進92萬5900股。

亞航今早以2.81令吉,揚升2仙報開,一度漲至2.85令吉,休市時掛2.82令吉,起3仙。

閉市時,亞航收2.81令吉,上揚2仙,成交量1143萬5200股。

KUALA LUMPUR:  AIRASIA BHD [] has signed an agreement with Airbus S.A.S to revise the delivery dates of 10 Airbus A320 aircraft from 2012 to 2015.

It said on Friday, Feb 11  the move was to allow some flexibility to switch from its current order of the classic A320 to a new generation A320 aircraft which is more fuel efficient when such aircraft come into production in the near future.

With the deferment, the delivery of 24 aircraft in 2012 would be reduced to 14 aircraft, while the number of deliveries in 2015 will be increased from nine aircraft to 19 aircraft, it said.

“No penalties are payable by AirAsia in revising the delivery schedule of the 2012 aircraft,” it said, adding the deferral would also have a positive impact from the balance sheet perspective, as it would help to maintain the company's net gearing position to below two.

AirAsia said it would take delivery of 14 aircraft in 2012, which would enable the company to support the growth of its joint ventures in the Philippines as well as Vietnam while continuing to support existing affiliate airlines.

“On the back of AirAsia very encouraging financial results in the last quarter, the focus of the company is to consolidate its growth while creating growth in other regions.

“The deferment is expected to create a greater optimisation of aircraft utilisation in tandem with the growth in passenger capacity,” it said.

亞洲航空 推遲空巴交貨期限

(吉隆坡11日訊)亞洲航空(AIRASIA,5099,主板貿服股)表示,該公司和空中巴士簽署修訂協議,以調整交貨期限。根據文告顯示,空中巴士原本應該在2012年交貨的10架A320型空中巴士期限,延長至3年至2015年。此外,空中巴士原本應於2012年交付亞洲航空24架飛機,將減少至14架;而在2015年交付的9架飛機則增加至19架。亞航表示,該公司並不用為這次調整交貨期限事宜作出賠償。

AirAsia defers 2012 deliveries

Maintain buy at RM2.69 with target price of RM3.50: AirAsia announced last Friday that it will defer the deliveries of 10 A320 aircraft originally scheduled for 2012 to 2015. With the deferment, AirAsia will receive 14 instead of 24 aircraft in 2012, and the number of deliveries in 2015 will be increased from 9 to 19 planes. AirAsia will not bear any penalties from the deferment.

According to AirAsia, the decision to defer the deliveries in 2012 was made to allow the group to switch from its order of the classic Airbus A320s to a newer variant, the A320 NEO (New Engine Option), which is designed to reduce fuel consumption by 8% to 15%. AirAsia has agreed to a firm order of 175 Airbus A320s to be delivered between December 2005 and October 2014. So far, the group has taken delivery of 16 A320 in 2010 and is looking at eight more this year. Most of these will be deployed in Thailand and Indonesia, in order to grow the associates’ fleet size in line with their increase in flight frequency and the addition of new routes. The 14 planes expected in 2012 will be mainly for its joint ventures in the Philippines and Vietnam.

Based on our assumptions, we expect the change of delivery schedule to increase FY12 earnings per share (EPS) by 6.2% as a result of lower depreciation and finance cost, after accounting for lower aircraft lease income. Meanwhile, net gearing is expected to decline by 5% to 1.5 times. At the moment, we keep our FY12 forecasts unchanged until further guidance from management during its 4Q results briefing. The group is expected to release its 4QFY10 results on Feb 24. We maintain a “buy” recommendation on AirAsia with a target price of RM3.50 based on 10 times FY11 EPS. — ECM Libra Investment Research, Feb 14
